Here is the first “consequential nudge” to behave that is made to the dysfunctional and/or greedy banks, electricity companies, water companies, dubious landlords, terrible housing associations and the rest of the dodgy-direct-debit brigade.

In our experience, many malevolent organisations ignore much of the good sense a significant audit recommends, then stiff their customers with paying the monetary fine. To add insult to injury, the worst of the worst award their directors morally obscene pay rises.
But, in fairness ~ and it has to be this way as justice is an ancient system with well worn protocols ~ before the penultimate final sentence with custodial tariffs are passed on lethal directors (the ones that cause death), we have to start somewhere.

Santander UK plc
With some irony, Santander Bank have announced it is taking over the TSB bank.
The irony being that our first charity has been trying to recover CHARITY MONEY form Santander Bank for over a SIXTEEN YEARS.
We now have a list of at least EIGHT serious infractions alleged against Santander UK plc that are being referred to the FCA.
Santander Bank are in no moral position to take over a bank (TSB) that has already shown itself to be disreputable and dysfunctional in terms of legal duty of care to customers, evidenced by the top slot on this page.
In addition, Santander Bank have closed the local branch where our subscribers bank.
So for our readers, you can see whether Santander decide to RETURN the money it owes the charity and if the bank wish to play nicely ALSO to allow an orderly transfer of this building to a local community charity in order that a…

We here at Calum’s List have serious doubts about Santander Bank. In our experience Santander UK plc are a far worse bank than TSB plc.
